Question 1

Can I participate in quizzes for more than one Town or Village with Cotswold Quizzes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can absolutely take part in quizzes for multiple Towns or Villages. Many participants engage in several quizzes each year, increasing their chances of winning. The more quizzes you complete and submit, the greater your opportunity to accumulate points and qualify for the hamper. There are a total of 10 quizzes available, and submitting all of them can earn you up to a maximum of 200 points. This flexibility allows you to explore different areas of the beautiful Cotswolds while enjoying our fun and challenging quizzes.

Question 2

Will I know how many points I have scored once I submit a quiz on Cotswold Quizzes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, after submitting your quiz on Cotswold Quizzes, you will receive an email with your total score for that quiz. However, to maintain the integrity and excitement of our quizzes, we do not reveal which specific questions were answered correctly or incorrectly until the end of the year. This means you will know your overall performance but will have to wait for the full answer release to see detailed feedback on each question.

Question 3

How does Cotswold Quizzes verify that quiz submissions come from the same person, especially if I change my email address?

Accepted Answer

At Cotswold Quizzes, we ensure the consistency and integrity of quiz submissions by cross-referencing your name and email address when you submit quizzes. This helps us confirm that multiple entries are from the same individual. If you ever change your email address, we ask you to provide a unique user name to maintain accurate tracking of your submissions. This system allows us to recognize returning participants while protecting the security and uniqueness of each user's account.

Question 4

Must I return my quiz answers by 1st November to be eligible for the Christmas Hamper prize?

Accepted Answer

Yes, to be entered into the draw for the Christmas Hamper offered by Cotswold Quizzes, all quiz answers must be submitted by 1st November at the latest. Any entries received after this date will be considered void and will not qualify for the prize. However, many participants enjoy taking part simply for the fun of the quiz and choose not to submit their answers. Whether you send your answers back or not is entirely your choice, but only those returned by the deadline will be eligible for the prize draw.

Question 5

Can I share my password with others to allow multiple people to participate in Cotswold Quizzes?

Accepted Answer

No, sharing your password with others is not recommended or beneficial. At Cotswold Quizzes, each quiz can only be submitted once per account. Therefore, sharing your login details will not allow multiple entries or improve your chances, as the system tracks submissions per user. To ensure fair play and the best experience, each participant should use their own account to take the quizzes. This also helps maintain the integrity of the competition and protects your personal information.

Question 6

Does Cotswold Quizzes offer only question-based quizzes, or do they also include picture quizzes?

Accepted Answer

Cotswold Quizzes offers both types of quizzes to suit different preferences. Some quizzes consist solely of written questions, while others feature a combination of questions and picture-based challenges. When a quiz includes images, a downloadable PDF link is provided on the question page, allowing participants to access high-quality, large-format pictures for easier viewing and study. This approach ensures an engaging and flexible quiz experience tailored to the scenic and thematic style of the Cotswolds.

Question 7

Do you share my personal information with third parties?
